Hi, I’m Thomas, a photographer and videographer based in Princeton, and I also teach photography at Princeton Photo Workshop. My work has taken me from weddings into news and documentary photography, with work appearing in places like The New York Times, Vogue, and CBS. That background has had a big influence on how I approach weddings—I tend to bring a more editorial and photojournalistic eye, looking for candid moments, natural interactions, and interesting compositions.
I’ll of course give direction when it’s helpful, but I also like to leave room for things to happen naturally and capture the day as it unfolds. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable in front of the camera and not feel like you have to “perform” for it :)!

5:45 PM — Reception
Grand entrance, first dances, speeches, dinner, and all the moments that make the reception yours.
7:00 PM — Golden Hour Shots (Depends on time of year!)
A few minutes away from the reception for some relaxed portraits in the best light. By this point, you've probably had a cocktail or two, so this is usually when everyone finally forgets there's a camera around.
8:00 PM — Dancing & Candid Moments
Back to the party for the dance floor, candid moments, and everything happening naturally around you.
10:00 PM — Coverage Ends

A LITTLE BEFORE THE DAY
Arriving early isn't just about getting more photos. It gives us a chance to meet, get comfortable with each other, and ease into being in front of the camera. By the time the important moments arrive, having a camera around should feel natural rather than something you have to think about.

A 15% downpayment is due when the contract is signed, with the remaining 85% due on the day of the wedding. I accept PayPal, Venmo, and checks, though cash is preferred. As noted above, payments made in cash receive a $50 discount (excluding the 15% deposit).

Not usually. I shoot and record in RAW, so the files are very large and can be difficult to transfer. That said, if you’d like the raw files, just let me know—we can arrange it!

We primarily use Sony Alpha cameras for both photo and video. We also have wireless microphones, digital recorders, tripods, flashes, gimbals, and plenty of other gear to make sure we’re prepared for whatever the day throws at us.
